Walking for Education

Iron Scout 2026 supports the FAWE Project – Girls’ Education in Madagascar, funded by the Luxembourgish association
Nadiezhda asbl.

The project runs a boarding school in Mahajanga for 30 girls from the poorest and most remote regions of Madagascar.
Many come from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds — large families, single-parent households, or they are orphans.

The boarding facility allows them to attend secondary school and, since 2015, university. Without it, education would simply not be accessible.

Our Goal: €25,000

Iron Scout 2026 aims to raise €25,000 to build a new boarding facility and give even more girls access to education and an independent future.
Every kilometer walked supports this mission.

How Sponsoring Works

Each participant can collect sponsors who pledge an amount per kilometer walked.

Example: If a participant walks 30 km and a sponsor pledges €1 per kilometer, the donation equals €30.
Sponsors may also define a maximum donation amount.

After the event:

  • Sponsors receive official confirmation.
  • Donations are transferred directly to Nadiezhda asbl.
  • Donations are tax deductible (according to applicable rules).

Participants do not collect cash directly — everything is handled transparently after the event.
